Apple Glen Elementary
“Apple Glen Elementary is the first school in Arkansas to be recognized as a Visible Learning School. In 2022, Apple Glen was awarded the Associate Level Award. In 2023, Apple Glen advanced that recognition when it was named a Partner Level Visible Learning School. Currently, there are about 12 schools in the United States and 20 schools globally that can boast this prestigious honor.
The Partner School Award demonstrates a school has completed deeper learning and made a continued commitment to Visible Learning principles. The methodology focuses on teachers educating their students about what they will be learning, how to learn and how to properly assess progress. Students are empowered to lead their own learning.”

The International School : Mary May Jones Elem., Ruth Barker Middle, Bentonville High
“An IB education aims to transform students and schools as they learn, through dynamic cycles of inquiry, action, and reflection. Teachers enable and support students as they develop the approaches to learning they need - for both academic and personal success.”
There are several benefits for students learning within the IB model:
Students will become a global community of learners
There is a high degree of freedom and agency for our students.
There is a heightened sense of cultural awareness through development of a second language.
We are excited to offer this model to our current students and look forward to welcoming new families who choose to apply to enroll their child in our school.
Our Mission Statement is as follows: The International School at Mary Mae Jones builds strong relationships and serves each student as he or she achieves high standards of learning in a global community.
Our School Values will focus on: Respect, Inquiry, Growth, and Service”
